Do blind people get cosmetic surgery?

I know this sounds superficial, BUT I fell that those who see are more superficial and more about looks because they can in fact see these looks. I was just wondering if there were some people who are blind that have had cosmetic plastic surgery. Just curious.
Cosmetic surgery can make a person feel better by making them look like the think they should. It can also help a person by making them look better to other people.
A blind person may feel they will look better to others if they have some work done.

I'm thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad. Any tips or advice from personal experience?

I'm a bit nervous about having cosmetic surgery in my local area. I'm thinking that if I were to get an operation abroad I could recover and recuperate away from work colleagues and friends. Also, I've read that I could save some money by getting my surgery done abroad. Does anybody have any personal experience? Can anybody recommend some good sources online to read more about this?
This is certainly something that you would not want to enter into lightly. My main advice would be to research, and keep on asking questions. It’s generally a a good indication of the responsibility and professionalism of a surgeon that your concerns are discussed in detail before any operation takes place and you are aware of any complications or side effects that may occur, no matter how rare.
If answers are hard to come by then I’d advise you to consider this as a warning sign and start looking for a different surgeon. After all, you can take as long as you want selecting a surgeon you feel comfortable with, but you will be living with the results for the rest of your life.
With regards to getting cosmetic surgery abroad. Yes there are certainly some massive savings to be had in comparison with standard US and UK prices. My advice would be to investigate this through a reputable company that have direct connections with the surgeon in the country you want to go to. Such companies will often help you org anise your entire trip and look after you during your stay.
From looking around on-line I’ve found the following resources which I think you’ll find useful:
http://www.revitalisebrazil.co.uk – This company organizes ‘cosmetic surgery holidays’ to Brazil.
www.privatehealth.co.uk/ cosmetic-surgery/cosmetic-abroad – This site lists a wide selection of companies that offer cosmetic surgery abroad
www.mediscapes.com/ – This company offers options to have your surgery in South Africa.

How would I go about geting info and participating? Are their websites??
sometimes. i had a breast reduction and septoplasty and the doctor only made me pay for the hospital stay and the materials used in the procedure, as long as i allowed medical students to watch the procedure.

I had my sinuses cleaned out and had the surgeon also perform some cosmetic surgery on my nose at the same time. I was told some of it would be billed to insurance but wasn't coverable because of the cosmetic surgery done. Can the costs be deducted as medical expenses on income tax?
No, because it is an elected proceedure.

Do you know of any sites that are for cosmetic teen surgery
I have enough sites that are agianst it
Thanks so much BEST WISHES
i think that for anyone they should really take into consideration how it will affect them physically and mentally. i always wished i had a flatter stomach but i felt that i would feel better if i worked out and accomplished it myself instead of going and getting lipo done. if a girl wants to get her breasts enlarged she would have to remeber than when she has children she cant breast feed anymore. i think it would be best to do it after the age of 17 anyways since womens bodies keep developing till that age.
