Is it better to have a breast augmentation through the nipples or under arm? Why?
It depends on whether you are doing the implants on top of your pectoral muscle or underneath it. A good plastic surgeon will evaluate your body type (slender, athletic, large-boned, etc.) and determine what kind of implant is best. Once the implant type is determined, the surgeon will discuss with you the options you have – underarm, nipple, underneath the breast or even belly button. The type of implant will also determine the cost. As for pain, the actual surgery doesn't hurt because you are sedated. When you wake up there is pain because of the implants but you are provided prescriptions for pain killers.

Honesly. From a guys pov lol, it would be best from under arm pit. Studies show it heals quicker, and can prevent you from have misshaped nipples.

Definitely under the arm…. The pain is horrible under the arm, but just think about that pain in the nipple! imagine someone pinching you under the arm, then doing it on the nipple. It will definitely hurt more on your nipple. My friend had her boobs done and did it under the arm, she says she cant even imagine what it would have been like if that pain was in her nipple. They actually remove the nipple to put it in, then sew it back on, OUCH!

I would say under the arm for scar reasons and because if you went through the nipples you'll probably loose the nerve endings there.And guys love to touch and have responses from the breast areas.
